Amazing, there are so many farming builds out there that you can adapt to any situation. I can use my nec as MM, SS, Orders, and situational farming build based on where I want to farm. Warrior can run, tank, fight, farm, u name it. Other character can do the same.

Learn skills and how to use them.

I'm bookmarking this thread as the ultimate evidence that FoW armor says ZERO about a player's quality....

must you really have FoW armor? i mean i have well enought money to get
15k armor for most of my characters but that doesn't mean i rush out and get it, im fully content with my 1.5k droks armor on all my chars, maybe you should focus more on you skill then the way you look

well, it's probably a troll, but taking the OP @ face value, i'd guess that his friend needed a stance tank for the book trick so he set his buddy (the OP, who's apparently a moron) up with a stance tank build and he's been faithfully following the formula ever since. Now that held items don't attract aggro so well, he's all mad because he never learned how to play the game well enough to figure out how to adapt...

oh yeah, the answer to a n00b in FOW armor is to give him MORE gold and equipment and free builds.

how about this, for advice?: roll up a new character and *LEARN TO PLAY*. then go back to your FOW wa/mo.

i have the feeling (like many others) that he ebayed the fissure armor, thinking that since it's the ultimate armor, he can start soloing all the high level areas and will never take a point of damage.

but in truth the magic in fissure armor (for most of us including myself) is that it's evidence that you are an effective and efficient farmer who spends a lot of time testing out new characters, builds, and item combos, then finds success through hard work.

this guy has no such dedication, just a sense of entitlement that came from ebaying the armor

Why are you guys still replying to this post? The opp joined forum last weekend, asked lots of questions in a row, without getting much positive response, and after 2 days of posting he just left...

I don't know if he's someone needing help
I don't know if he's aware asking around like this is asking for troubles
I don't know if he's pretending or not...

He sounds like a kid, if he's not you guys are right. But what if he is? Are you proud you scared him away? Don't judge too fast! Sometimes its better to just let it be...

Im not reading the vast bulk of this, as it no doubt includes put downs. Maybe hi is a troll im going to give the benifit of the doubt.

Your a W/M like me, that is your first mistake, you are a warrior, not a warrior/monk. Whats the difference, well basicly you have access to all the secondarys, so you dont always have to be a W/M, try the other secondarys.

As to your build, there again is your problem you should not have A build, but dozens and dozens, depending on the situation. You really should have spent that money on unlocking all the skills.

For PVE here is a general guide. Your first 3 bars for attack skills, your middle 3 bars for defense skills (can be buffs like watch yourself, or healing hands, or they can be stances or skills like life steal, experiment and see what you like), and your last 2 slots for rebirth and res signet, this is a very rough guide to a Warrior PVE build.

PVP is all about experimenting and seing what works, there are no rules.

As to solo builds, well i use them, but at the same time understand the game is not built to cater for them, they will only work in selected areas (for the average player)., and if you cant get them to work, you have to remember this is the smallest part of the game, the real tactics is in team builds.

the armor you have means jack ass in terms of skill in the game.
i got my fow sets for one reason and one reason only; it looks great, and covers up the fact that because i run so many enormously different builds im constantly switching my armor around...and i dont want to look like a 3 year old who tried to dress themselves.
the fact that its blatanly obvious that he ebayed the armor is merely compounded by the fact that
A: not only does he think warriors have been made useless (if anything, they got better IMO), but;
B: the build he was spoon-fed is no longer working, so hes asking people to spoon-feed him a new one.

dont take my advice as being a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOy, asinine, egotistical bastard; take it for what it really is, an attempt at helping you.
please, stop asking friends or people you know for builds, and try to make them yourself. not only will you gain more experience in the build-making fronteer, but if you make your own builds, you gain experience in using them, and often they end up more effective than a build given to you by someone else.
the problem with guildwars is not anets nerf bat, or ebaying, or whatever the case may be...well, these are problems, but they are caused by a single, dominating, root-problem; the lack of origionality present in GW's player base.
the skill of a player is not measured by how well they can play someone elses build (because eventually a counter to that build will be dramed up); but in the ability to make builds yourself that can trump existing ones.
